Before most commentators jump into their verse by verse explanation, they begin with background material for a book in the Bible. Such introductory material includes: author, recipients, date of writing, etc. Sometimes locating that information in Logos can be
challenging.
For example, if you open the Bible Knowledge Commentary (BKC), type Ephesians in its reference box, and then press the Enter key you’ll jump to a discussion of Ephesians 1:1-2, totally bypassing the background content.

Using the Table of Contents is perhaps the easiest way to currently open a commentary to this helpful introductory information.
