How to Locate a Logos Website Collection in the Library

September 09, 2011 at 10:01 AM

People often ask me how to find in the Library a collection of resources they purchased from Logos. For example, let’s say we download the 15 volumes contained in the IVP New Testament Studies Collection. If we type in the Library’s Find box, IVP or Studies or Collection, our resources will not be listed. The reason is, IVP New Testament Studies Collection is just a marketing or working title Logos gives to these books it groups together for a value price. The resources in this (or any) collection appear in the Library according to the actual title of the book such as Is the New Testament Reliable? or Contextualization in the New Testament.

To locate the books in the IVP New Testament Studies Collection type this in the Library’s Find box: publisher:Inter

To find the A.W. Tozer Collection type author:Tozer

To display the Atonement Collection type title:atonement

The key is to look at the individual titles contained in a collection as they appear on the Logos website because this is how they will also appear in your Library. Just remember not to use the marketing title on the website which does not appear in your Library.
