Tip of the Month: Library Filters 
As we embark on learning Logos 4, I have received numerous e-mails regarding the Library. There's no way to cover everything in one newsletter, but I'll describe filters to get you going. After opening the Library, you'll see the Find box in which you type text in order to locate a resource. For example, type will and all the resources containing will in any category of information are displayed in the Library panel. If the title of a book is How to Discern the Will of God, the resource appears. If the resource's author is Dan Williams , it is shown and so on. You can, however, limit the number of displayed resources by utilizing a filter. Use the table below for examples of text to type in the Find box:
Tip of the Month: Personal Tags One of the most helpful Library filters is the personal tag you can assign to a resource. For example, as you work with books you could assign the tag Excellent to any resource you find very helpful. Then in the Library, you can just display your Excellent resources. Heres how to assign a personal tag:
mytag:Excellent Please note that mytag is case sensitive, singular, and only one word. Following the filter name, type a colon followed by the tag. No spaces appear anywhere in the text. By utilizing personal tags you can create your own categories of books, such as Theology, History, Apologetics, etc. Such tagging can be a great help as you move into the area of searching.
