Removing Resources

I recently received an e-mail asking me how to remove unwanted resources from the hard drive. Just remember that each Libronix resource consists of one file. So to remove the resource you just have to identify, locate and delete the file from your computer.

Identify the Resource File

  • Open My Library in Libronix
  • In the Find box type the name of resource you want to remove
  • Right click on the title of the resource in the display area
  • Select About This Resource
  • In the Resource Location section of this window identify the file name of the book (the file name ends in .lbxlls

Locate the Resource File

  • Right click on the Start menu
  • Select Explore All Users
  • Click the plus sign ( + ) next to Program Files to view the Libronix DLS folder
  • Click the plus sign ( + ) next to the Libronix DLS folder to view the Resources folder
  • Click the Resources folder to display its contents on the right hand side
  • Find your specific resource file on the right hand side

Delete the Resource File

  • Right click on your Resource file on the right hand side
  • Select Delete
  • Click Yes to confirm the deletion
♦ Hiding Resources

Along the same lines you can also Hide unwanted resources without actually deleting them from the hard drive. Hidden resources do not show up in My Library or any part of your program. Any time you desire you can “unhide” them.

Hide a Resource

  • Choose Tools | Options | General
  • Click Hidden Resources
  • Click Add
  • Type the desired resource in the Find box
  • Click the title of the resource in the viewing area
  • Click OK on the Select Resource window
  • Click OK on the Options window

Unhide a Resource

  • Choose Tools | Options | General
  • Click Hidden Resources
  • Select the resource to unhide from the Other Hidden Resources list
  • Click Remove
  • Click OK
♦ Sermon Files of Rob Morgan Volume II

The newly created Sermon Files of Rob Morgan Volume I has been such a hit, we have decided to go ahead and produce Volume II. Rob Morgan is my (Morris) mentor and friend and most importantly one of the best expositors and sermon illustrators you will ever hear.

I have personally taken 100 of Rob’s sermon manuscripts and placed each one in a Sermon File document. I have then tagged each one according to the relevant Topics and References. When you load these files and then click Compile on one of your Sermon File documents these 100 sermons will be added to your personal sermon book.

Volume II contains sermons covering such subjects as:

  • Red Sea Rules
  • Expositions from Revelation
  • Secrets of Successful People
  • Glimpses of Jesus in Exodus
  • And more

These files are rich in Biblical content, sermon illustrations and practical applications. If you have the Sermon File Addin (sold separately from Logos) these files, as well as the 100 from Volume I, will integrate seamlessly into your personal sermon book.
