Here’s how this new seminar came about. For over 25 years I’ve been privileged to travel and speak throughout the body of Christ. One of my greatest joys during that time has been informally helping pastors and teachers craft their messages so they’re presenting the Word of God in a faithful and practical way. People have graciously responded to that help. They also strongly encouraged me to present the procedure I use for my own message building and have informally shared with others so more people could benefit. At their request I developed the I-Beam of message building.

I believe good biblical preaching or teaching must fulfill the two broad principles of being Faithful to the Text and Functional for Today. We are called to both preach the Word and preach the Word to today’s generation.

Then using the analog of a construction I-Beam I present 6 steps to message building that insures the fulfillment of both principles.

At the seminar I explain each principle, give practical examples, and then allow you time in small groups to implement the principle. This is truly a hands-on seminar.

Whether you’re a preacher, teacher, conference presenter, or someone who just wants to improve your communication skills, you will benefit from the principles and skills you learn.

Also, please keep in mind this is NOT a Libronix software training seminar. This seminar assumes you have studied the passage, gathered your research, and are now ready to organize that information into a biblical and practical message. I will certainly refer to the software, but this seminar focuses on developing sermons and lessons.
