Camp Logos FAQ

FAQ

Here are some questions we are often asked. If your questions are answered below please check the other links on this page. If they still aren't answered please e-mail us.

  1. Why attend a seminar when I have help files in the program?
We've discovered that very few people actually read the help files. They're therefore utilizing only a fraction of the power of the Libronix Digital Library System (LDLS) and electronic books. The seminar allows you to concentrate on the program for two solid days rather than 10 minutes here and there. Also the instructor provides practical applications, tricks, and in-depth explanations that don't appear in the Help Files.

  2. Is the seminar different than the Video Reference Guide?
Yes. The training CD is designed to be a good introduction to the LDLS but the seminar is much more in depth covering more topics with lots of practical applications.

  3. I am a computer novice. Will I be lost in this seminar?
No. The seminar is very user friendly and taught in plain English with no computer jargon. People have commented they not only learned the LDLS but how to use a computer as well.

  4. Do I need to know anything about the program before attending the seminar?
No. Some people actually attend the training before buying the program. We'll break down the LDLS into topics and take you step by step through each topic so that you'll have a firm grasp of how it works.

  5. I am an experienced LDLS user. Will I learn anything new at the seminar?
Yes. Each session, even the first one, is loaded with shortcuts and practical applications to keep even the most experienced user attentive. People who have had the program for years have said what they learned in the first hour or two that was worth the registration fee.

  6. Is the registration fee reasonable?
Yes. Most software training companies charge $200-400 a day for even an introductory course. Our price is a little bit above $100 a day and after two days you'll know the program thoroughly. We'll even provide snacks and drinks for you.

  7. Do I bring a computer or is one provided?
Either. If you have a laptop with the LDLS software we encourage you to bring it. If not, simply request a computer when you register and we'll provide one for you for a nominal charge of $15.

  8. I'm not a pastor or professor, should I attend?
Yes. Housewives, doctors, truck drivers, lawyers, etc. all attend the seminar. If you enjoy studying the Bible this seminar is for you.

  9. Can I purchase new electronic books at the seminar?
Yes. The discount prices at the seminar are great.

  10. Will I remember everything I learn when I get home?
No. You'll learn a lot but you'll need to practice the features so that they become a habit. You will receive a Camp Logos Training Manual containing notes and examples of what's covered in class so that you can review at home.
