Help
The technological precursor to the Libronix Digital Library System (LDLS) was called the Logos Library System (LLS). It was identified with the green LLS logo. Some of your electronic books may be in this format rather than the LDLS. You can still even purchase products today in the LLS format.
These products include:
-
RC Sproul Digital Library from Baker
-
Friends of Israel Digital Library Volumes 1 and 2
-
Concordia Electronic Theological Library
The LDLS will read LLS books, however, LLS products have a different installation process.
Please follow these steps to install any LLS product old or new:
-
Insert the LLS CD
-
Auto run should begin the installation. If it doesn't click the Start menu and then select Run. In the Open box type: D:Setup where "D" is the letter for your CD ROM
-
If the Logos Library System is already installed:
-
Click the Update Icon
-
-
If the Logos Library System is not already installed:
-
Click the Install icon
-
If prompted you may enter a Name and Organization if you like. Click Continue. Verify your name and click Continue
-
-
Click OK on the Setup dialog
-
Click OK on the Program Group dialog
-
If prompted to replace a file you may select Yes or No
-
You will now see the message Installation Complete! Click OK and close any open windows
YOU MUST INSTALL OR UPDATE THE LOGOS LIBRARY SYSTEM FOR EACH LLS PRODUCT !!!
THIS INSTALL PROCESS IS HOW THE BOOKS ARE UNLOCKED IN LLS !!!
THERE IS NO SERIAL NUMBER TO ENTER !!!
Now that the books are unlocked you can go to LDLS to copy the LLS books to the hard drive:
-
Leave the LLS CD in the computer
-
Open the Libronix Digital Library System
-
Go to Tools |Library Management |Location Manager
-
Select Unlocked on Removable Media in the List Resources drop down list
-
AFTER the Discovering Resources message in the lower right portion of the screen DISAPPEARS, click Copy Resources
