Thank you for an absolutely wonderful two days! I was truly blessed and had fun studying God's Word this am with the new knowledge of Logos 4. But this tool and your amazing teaching is more than a software and more than a workshop, it makes an amazing difference in the body of Christ.

This past Sunday, 33 new persons knelt down at the altar to accept Christ and joined our church! They attended 14 weeks of class I taught using Logos. The bottom line of Logos is this: people come to know our Savior because of Biblical preaching and teaching. In addition, I have taught two Bible Studies this past year on Philippians (on Tuesday's am and pm). 50 people eagerly come to the class because of the amazing preparation Logos blesses me. I took one year to cover the book of Philippians and the people loved it!

Upcoming Weekend Camp Logos Seminars

The new Camp Logos seminar has been great since the release of Logos Bible Software 4. It has been great to see the number of people that want to make an investment into their Bible study by coming to Camp. And while it is a monetary investment, it's also an investment of time.

Everyone's situation is different, but there are many people who can't come to Camp because it involves two weekdays. However, we have some "Weekend" Camp Logos seminars that are coming up. These seminars go from 5-9 p.m. on Friday nights and 8:30-4:30 on Saturdays. The following are upcoming "Weekend" Camp Logos locations:

June 25-26 -- Boston, MA
August 13-14 -- Nashville, TN
October 1-2 -- Memphis, TN
October 15-16 -- Lancaster, PA

These Camps will hopefully be an opportunity for people to come; people who might not have been able to make a regular Camp. The first weekend seminar that we had was last year in Atlanta at Luther Rice University. It was great to see the number of hands raised when the attendees were asked if they were only able to come because of the weekend format.

A Logos user e-mailed me explaining that he loves to study and teach the Bible but that he is not familiar with all of the different categories of Christian books. What is a lexicon? A Bible introduction? A critical commentary?

Learn the Logos Vocabulary

As I train people to use Libronix I am often asked questions like: “How is the Exegetical Guide different from the Bible Word Study?” “What is an Activation Code?” After hearing me answer these questions at Camp Logos, an attendee suggested I develop a glossary that quickly defines the major features and tools of Libronix. Good idea!

As I developed this glossary I thought I should expand it beyond the features of the software to include definitions for the whole Logos culture: “What is the difference between Libronix and Logos?” How does mp|seminars relate to Logos?”

So hopefully all of these definitions for words in the “Logos culture” will help as we continue to develop the fellowship of Logos users.

Exciting things are happening here at MP|S! We just completed the first seminar of our new "I-Beam of Sermon Building" in the Bahamas last week. Stay tuned as we are very excited for this seminar that Morris has developed in hopes of helping pastors preach the Word more effectively.

If you have ever been to Camp Logos , you more than likely remember the video that was played involving the "medieval helpdesk" with the monk and the scrolls. The video is referenced to how some people feel about their change from print books to Bible software.

FREE Download of the Sermon File Addin

I want to make sure you read the October 21 Logos blog for information regarding the FREE download of the Sermon File Addin (SFA) for the rest of October.

Remember the SFA allows you to convert text to the Libronix format, filing it safely away in two SFA compiled books. You can then retrieve your information by Topic, Reference, or by the Date that you used the material.

After you obtain the SFA, be sure to check out our Sermons of Rob Morgan Volumes 1-4 that load right into the addin.
